I swear to God, the Whedon/Fillion team has to be one of the funniest around. Make sure you watch right to the end for Captain Mal's musical number ;P

In slightly less comic news, I've been watching Allison to Lillia. Seriously, it's like watching anime Tintin, I keep expecting the main characters to be held up by a set of detectives from Scotland Yard or something.

Anyway, the story revolves around regular school student (with a knack for remembering details) Will and his childhood friend the mischevious, impulsive aviatrix (in every 1930s sense of the word) Allison, currently transporting planes for the Airforce.

Won't say much more 'cept that I was sold the minute the Tiger Moth arrived, closely followed by a Grumman Goose flying boat. If you have any interest in golden-era aviation at all WATCH IT!

Trailer's here: [link]
And here's the Tintin opening for comparison: [link] By far my favorite childhood cartoon :D

Never give up your dreams in a struggle.
Allison to Lillia looks like it'll be a good anime. I'll try to see if someone uploaded a few episodes online.

Don't know why, but Tintin looks familar for some reason.
that is the greatest video blog ever. NPH forever!

If only I could think of something to put here...
Thank you for sharing.
Always been a fan of the Tiger Moth.

Must give it a look.

Nope. They're having to bring it in from another library for me. I'm on Feet of Clay atm. And Wee Free Men, though a younger reader, was friggin hilarious! Nac Mac Feegle rock. =D

'Maurice' was pretty good. About to start on 'Wee Free Men'. Missing the more adult leveled humor of the others, though. :)
