Someone intelligent once said that a post-apocalyptic world was a fun place to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there.

Brisbane, 2010. When the water ran out most people evacuated south, the only ones left were those who were either too poor or too stupid to leave when they had the chance; guess that puts me pretty firmly in the latter category. Same with Old Mate over there, not that I mind having her around, the extra set of eyes are more than appreciated.

Old Sir Joh used to tell us that tower-cranes on the skyline were a sign of progress. I don't know about progress, but all they are now are happy sniper real-estate. One of the reasons I don't like doing this meeting in the open here. It's not that I don't trust our boy or anything. I trust him... about as far as I could throw 'im and he's a tubby barstard at that, but when you're outta cash then you don't generally get to be the one calling the shots.

I could really go a beer right now...


There, two days solid work, and I don't think it looks too bad. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, wouldn't be the first time. A quick look at a post-apocalyptic Brisbane could be. I'm not joking about the water either.

Anyways, it was fun to do. Wes and Nat in a different context to usual. I changed the equipment focus to cheap and reliable. Hence the AK-47 and the RS1800 (instead of the Alfetta, parts are hard enough to find for that as is). Another attempt at the new background style... still not totally sure about it.

So, thoughts appreciated, appreciated with extra fervor.
