MV Arcadia, damage control/firefighting drills.
At this moment, it's probably worth pointing out that my entire understanding of firefighting aboard a warship comes from listening to The Mighty Jingles, so take that how you will but in this case he's probably a reliable source.
Frankly, Higgins (yes, there's a Higgins under all that... I did have the mask hanging around her neck, until I saw how the straps actually worked) is far to small and probably shouldn't be let anywhere near a fire hose, even as water wall. However, as she suffers the dual indignities of being both cute and a bit quiet (and having a sense of humour, but that's a given or she wouldn't have survived long on Arcadia), someone probably thought it would be funny to to put her there anyway. Especially as any normal kit one puts on her just looks hilariously oversize.
Besides, you know, warship-in-disguise, so everyone needs to know how to do this stuff anyway, whether they look silly doing so or not.

My oldest son was talking with us the other night about their ship ready to go back out on patrol the middle of this month. And that a lot of the veteran crew members had finished their tours onboard and have been replaced with newbies.
He also said that he had been going through damage control training, including firefighting.
