Aria Company

I decided some fanart of "Aria: the Natural" was in order, 'cause I've really enjoyed it. Thing is I'm not sure why. Normally I like stuff to happen in my anime. Set in the city of Neo Venizia on a terraformed Mars, Aria sort of ambles through it's 26 episodes without anything much happening at all. Thing is, it does it in a sort of agreeable, relaxed way. It never has to resort to fanservice (I don't know about anyone else, but I reckon that the amount of fanservice is inversely proportional to the amount of thought that's gone into a series) and presents a cast of genuinely likable, interesting characters without ever sending personalities to extremes. Basically, when you're in a mood to relax and do nothing, this one's right there with you. Mark for summer viewing.

Still trying out this simpler style. Might try it on a night shot next. Not much else to say really.
